"Makita DMR115 cordless jobsite radio"
What does the Makita DMR115 cordless site radio offer?
The Makita DMR115 cordless site radio is a portable radio for building sites, workshops and gardens. It plays music via DAB+, FM and Bluetooth. This lets you listen to radio stations or your own playlist directly from your smartphone.
The housing is impact-resistant and designed for tough daily use on site. Rubberised edges protect the radio if it bumps into something or tips over.
Functions and connections at a glance
With the Makita DMR115 you stay flexible, whether you prefer radio or streaming. You control it via large buttons and an easy-to-read display.
- DAB+ and FM reception for digital and analogue stations
- Bluetooth for wireless streaming from your smartphone
- Aux input for wired music sources
- Headphone output for quiet listening
- Station presets for your favourite channels
The radio uses Makita batteries from the 18-volt platform (depending on battery range). This allows you to keep using existing batteries from your Makita tools. Mains operation is usually possible as well if you connect a suitable power supply.
Who is the Makita DMR115 suitable for?
The Makita DMR115 cordless site radio suits anyone who wants to listen to music on site or in the workshop and already uses Makita cordless tools.
- Tradespeople needing a robust radio for daily use
- DIY enthusiasts working in garages, sheds or home workshops
- Gardeners and landscapers who want music or news outdoors
Everyday advantages
Battery operation frees you from fixed sockets. You place the radio wherever you need it. The carry handle makes it easy to move between work areas.
- Independent of the mains thanks to cordless operation
- Sound that remains easy to hear in noisy environments
- Simple control with large, sturdy buttons
- Splash-resistant design for outdoor use
What should you look for before buying?
Check whether your existing Makita batteries are compatible with the DMR115. This way you avoid buying extra batteries. Also check the reception types you need (DAB+, FM) and whether you want Bluetooth for your smartphone.
If you often use the radio outdoors, pay attention to the protection rating and housing design. A rugged site radio like the Makita DMR115 copes better with dust and splashing water than a normal household radio.
