Benefits in everyday work

Mobile and flexible without a cable

With the GKS 18V-57 you work without an annoying cable. This reduces the risk of cutting into cables or tripping over them. You can also cut directly at the place of installation, for example on the roof, on scaffolding or in a shell construction.

Easy handling and precise guidance

The design is optimised for good guidance along guide rails and board edges. This makes straight cuts easier. The grip areas are designed for a secure hold so that you can guide the saw with control.

Part of the Bosch Professional 18V system

The GKS 18V-57 is part of the Bosch Professional 18V system. You can combine suitable 18V batteries and chargers with many other Bosch Professional machines. This saves costs compared with stand-alone solutions each with their own battery system.

What should you look out for when buying?

Before buying, check whether you already have 18V batteries from Bosch Professional. This lets you decide whether you need the machine on its own or as a set with battery and charger.

• Compare desired cutting depth and possible saw blade diameters
• Type of saw blades: choose coarse or fine teeth depending on the project
• Check compatibility with existing Bosch Professional 18V batteries
• Planned areas of use: frequent outdoor work speaks in favour of a cordless saw

If you make a lot of cuts in thick timbers, it is worth checking the recommended battery capacity. Larger batteries allow longer working times without recharging.
