Installation, operation and care

Wall installation

The hood is mounted directly on the wall above the hob. When planning, ensure sufficient width and the recommended minimum height above the hob.

Depending on the structural conditions, either ducted extraction or recirculation mode is possible. For recirculation mode you need suitable filter inserts.

Cleaning and maintenance

For consistently good performance, you should clean the metal grease filters regularly. Many filters can be conveniently cleaned in the dishwasher.

Activated charcoal filters in recirculation mode should be replaced at the intervals recommended by the manufacturer. This keeps odour absorption effective.

What should you look out for when buying?

Before buying, check the width of your hob and choose a hood width to match. The hood should at least cover the hob.

Consider whether you can use ducted extraction to the outside or prefer recirculation mode. This affects accessories, installation effort and energy consumption.

Also take the planned installation height into account so that you can cook comfortably and keep the head area clear.
