What does the Novy 7830 Vision wall-mounted hood offer?

The Novy 7830 Vision wall-mounted hood is a wall-mounted cooker hood for modern kitchens. It hangs directly on the wall above the hob and vents steam and odours upwards. Thanks to its clear, understated shape, it goes well with straight kitchen fronts and open-plan living areas.

The hood is suitable for either ducted extraction or recirculation, depending on your kitchen layout. This means you can use it both in a house with an extraction duct and in a flat without a wall outlet.

Functions and everyday benefits

The Novy 7830 Vision wall-mounted hood is designed for quiet, even airflow. The motor generates a strong air stream that quickly draws cooking vapours out of the room. This helps to reduce grease deposits on furniture and cut down unpleasant odours.

• Efficient perimeter extraction for focused airflow
• Multiple power levels for quiet simmering or intense frying
• LED lighting for an evenly illuminated cooking area
• Metal grease filters that you can remove for cleaning

Thanks to the flat, smooth front surface, the wall-mounted hood is easy to clean. You can simply wipe away splashes and grease with a damp cloth.

Who is the Novy 7830 Vision suitable for?

The Novy 7830 Vision is aimed at users who cook frequently and value a quiet, uncluttered kitchen. It is suitable for standard hobs above an island unit or a straight run of units.

Suitable kitchen sizes and installation situation

The wall-mounted hood fits into many kitchen layouts:

• Straight kitchen runs with a wall-mounted hob
• L-shaped kitchens where the hob is positioned on a wall
• Open-plan kitchens where noise level and design are important

The optimum distance to the hob depends on the type of cooker you have. With an electric or induction hob it is usually slightly lower than with gas. Follow the installation details in the mounting instructions so that the hood extracts effectively and safety is ensured.

What should you consider before buying?

To make sure the Novy 7830 Vision wall-mounted hood suits your kitchen, check a few points in advance.

Width, connection and mode of operation

Match the hood width to your hob. Ideally, the hood should be at least as wide as the hob. You should also plan the type of air extraction:

• Ducted extraction: Vents the air outside, requires a wall outlet or extraction duct.
• Recirculation: Returns the air to the room via activated charcoal filters.

For recirculation mode you need suitable activated charcoal filters, which you must replace regularly. Check the manufacturer’s recommendations for this.

Cleaning and maintenance

The metal grease filters of the Novy 7830 Vision capture grease particles from the vapour. They can be removed for cleaning. As a rule, you can clean these filters by hand or in an appropriate dishwasher cycle. This helps the extraction performance to remain effective for longer.

If you use the hood in recirculation mode, check the condition of the activated charcoal filters at regular intervals. Depending on how often you cook, you should replace them after a few months so that odours continue to be absorbed effectively.

Conclusion: clear look and powerful performance on the wall

The Novy 7830 Vision wall-mounted hood combines understated design with powerful, even extraction. It reduces cooking odours in the kitchen and living area and provides bright lighting for the hob. With the choice between ducted extraction and recirculation, it adapts to different living situations and offers a practical solution for wall-mounted hobs in modern kitchens.
